The New England District of the Christian and Missionary Alliance has jurisdiction over 67 churches throughout the six New England states: Connecticut, Maine, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, Rhode Island, and Vermont. Encompassing the combined totals of these church congregations we serve more than 10,000 people. A significant number of people among our constituency have roots in a variety of ethnic backgrounds and language groups. From its early history the Christian and Missionary Alliance has ministered widely throughout many countries of the world, fostering a cultural climate within its ranks that has prepared us not only to welcome immigrant populations but to embrace them as brothers and sisters.

The Christian and Missionary Alliance (C&MA—more commonly referred to simply as "The Alliance”) is a movement of God’s people, within the framework of a church denomination, who focus our resources on our immediate neighborhoods as well as on people groups in all parts of the world. We are committed to growing and planting Christ-centered, missional churches that are indigenous to the soil and cultural climate of their immediate neighborhoods.

Our mission is to love and care for our communities in a way that illustrates God’s love for the world. We want to welcome people into God’s family where the love and grace of Christ are the standard.
